NELSON PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Nelson Property Maintenance was founded in 2005 by Sean and Sarah-Jane Nelson. The company was started by us because we were tired of hearing about builders, plumbers and tradesmen who rarely called back or even turned up, and if they did, they would overcharge and often do a poor job.

Sean is probably best known in Bristol as ‘The Flower Man’ having moved to Bristol in the 90s and setting up’ The Red Flower Barrow’. However his vocation has always been in Property Maintenance, specialising in property ‘cosmetics’. He trained and worked in the West Midlands after he left school in plastering, painting, decorating and gardening.

Sarah-Jane has been in Property letting and management, both residential and commercial since the 80’s, organising major and minor repairs to properties and housing portfolios.

Sean & Sarah-Jane recognised there was a niche in the market where individuals, letting agencies, and management companies alike needed a property maintenance company that could offer a comprehensive integrated solution to all property issues from a changing a tap washer to a new roof and everything in between, all under one roof.

Many trades charge highly inflated costs on materials, ridiculous hourly rates and call out charges for some of the smallest and simplest jobs. We want to turn this on its head.

We do not charge call out charges.

We do not charge for quotations.

Our team will always inform you upfront of the costs of a job and if for some reason some unforeseen problem arises we will try, if possible, to stick to our original quotation. If this is not possible we will discuss this fully with you before any further costs are involved.
